I wish this pope would stay in his lane. The only opinion I want to hear from him is whether AI can be baptized.

The pope's "lane" is humanity. In reading the article, I found the position he puts forth to be measured and considered, focusing not on the technical aspects of AI, but rather on how to approach its use and implementation with empathy and careful thought.

His lane is Catholicism.

Not quite. You think he's just a well dressed CCE teacher?

No, I think he’s the spiritual leader for Catholics (not humanity)

A sibling comment says the Pope's lane is humanity, but if you wanna be more specific, religion has a ton of philosophy, Leo XIV has a degree in math, and the intersection of those two 100% includes AI.

I wish you'd stay in your lane, his comments were awesome and basically the job

Not only that, he should clean house before lecturing others on any topic.
By which I don’t mean that one needs to be perfect before giving opinions, but the current level of hypocrisy is pushing it.
