This is going to be an interesting development to watch for a number of reasons. First, the selection of using the Blue Origin lander is a pretty broad condemnation from NASA with respect to SpaceX's CEO's promises about when they could land there. Second, it puts a stake in the ground about what "moon exploitation" might actually look like. As mentioned in the article, it's in contrast to how China sees things.
