https://www.hornet.org/wikipedia-notes.txt seems to be notes related to a deleted Wikipedia page about the Hornet Archive. The wiki page itself seems to be mirrored at this URL: https://www.hornet.org/wikipedia-hornet.txt

> Arguably one of the best writeups about the archive was on Wikipedia. However that page was deleted in 2010 due to a lack of documented sources verifying the archive existed.

As an aside, how does wiki generally deal with this? There is this page, obviously. Is this not a source (hornet.org)? No idea how else would you document something like this? Obviously someone involved back then still maintains this page...

Same thing happened to BYOND game engine. Since all relevant info was on its own extensive website it didn't count, then Wikipedia said it was not notable and deleted it. Ironically the game Space Station 13, made with BYOND, has a Wikipedia page.

Where is there no way to view deleted wikipedia articles? Apparently only admins have access, which doesn't make sense for articles deleted for mundane reasons.

The Internet Archive has a version from a few years before the deletion here: https://web.archive.org/web/20060716222727/https://en.wikipe...
