It was reminding me of the AI cleaning robots who turns out were just third-world workers watching on cameras directing the robot what to clean. After it came out that humans were driving the robots remotely they changed their branding to "AI-assisted remote human teleoperation."

Also Waymo does this and some robot delivery company.

This feels like an incomplete statement. Waymo makes decisions locally and also escalates to humans, often. Humans making decisions at intersections or important route moments or unexpected scenarios is probably the right move for a long time, in my opinion. The moment by moment decisions are onboard as they have to be but it isn't "wayno doesn't do this".

IIRC the car typically asks yes/no questions, but comes to a safe stop on its own first. In some cases they might draw an escape route for it on a map.

even if its true, its only for one feature of Muse right? Everything else is fully automated.

the post and headline is clickbait and gives the wrong impression that muse itself is operated by humans. very few people will use the voice or call feature.

the post reads a bit amateurish and ignorant
