GDPR is seen as cumbersome and bureaucratic, and the EU commission and Germany in particular are looking to bypass or loosen the regulations in order to allow AI training.
It's sad to see steps in this direction, especially from the EU.

Now it gets more obvious that when AI companies mean "AI is very dangerous" they must mean something else.
What is it though? Downregulation of bad open/Chinese competition?
